Seasons of life change just like the seasons of weather here on Earth. Ecclesiastes 3 says there is a time for different things to happen in each our lives, even the hard times. No matter what season of life we're in, we must trust in the Lord's promises and remember that His timing is perfect.
With sunshine and warm weather come road trips and vacations among many other things. Often times we get so caught up in the fun summer brings that we forget to reflect on the freedom summer can signify. While we can find things on this earth freeing, we can only find true freedom in Christ.
God has given each of us spiritual gifts, whether we know it or not. It's important for us to learn to identify what those gifts are so we can use them the way God intended! Our gifts are given to us in order to fully love God, love others, and serve.
This earth-shattering news broke me. I cried out to God for answers and felt no immediate response. In this time of waiting, the Lord was shaping me. He brought me to my knees and filled my heart with hope and a peace unlike anything I had experienced.
